Established in 1977, CIBTAC was created from an identified need to provide relevant, high-quality training within the beauty, complementary & spa industry. We were founded, and continue to be run by, passionate industry professionals.

Mandy Wells - Head of Education

Mandy heads up the CIBTAC team and is putting her recently achieved Diploma in leadership and management to good use. Mandy is currently on maternity leave. She is an experienced teacher and lecturer with over a 'decades' practice in the industry, most recently at the London School of Beauty and Make-up teaching the CIBTAC/CIDESCO programmes. She is passionate about maintaining quality and standards in the education sector and has a wealth of knowledge in the holistic therapies field being a Reiki master and holding a BSC in herbal medicine.

Ameena Cott - Education Lead

Ameena is the CIBTAC Education Lead and holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. Ameena’s experience has evolved from working as a professional therapist, lecturer, international examiner and published educational author. Ameena is passionate about education in the world of Aesthetics, Spa and Complementary Therapies. Ameena is currently covering Mandy Wells whilst she is on maternity leave.

Kerry Lawlor - Education Consultant

Kerry has recently returned to CIBTAC and is working as an Education Consultant for us. Kerry has been a practicing therapist for over 30 years, a lecturer and is also a well- respected CIBTAC examiner. She brings a wealth of experience to the team and advises on quality assurance, compliance and qualification development.

Natalie Stone - Account Executive

Natalie joined the company at the latter end of 2015, to initially cover maternity leave. Natalie has brought creative flair to the team, having previously worked in the fashion retail and cosmetics industry. As of January 2017, Natalie became a permanent member of the team as Account Executive for Ireland, but has since moved on to supporting the CIBTAC Education Team/Head of Education. You will also find Natalie assisting projects in all areas of the business as well supporting the Account Executive team through improving process and procedures.

Becca Clark - Account Executive

After returning from maternity leave Becca now works part time for us. Entering her fifth year at CIBTAC, she has recently become responsible for our Centres in the UK, Europe, Caribbean, South Africa, Mauritius and UAE and is relishing the new challenge! Becca is passionate about supporting her Centres and Examiners. She has recently completed a CIPD qualification and hopes to eventually move into the HR field.

Kim Curtis - Account Executive

Kim previously worked in the beauty department at Gloucestershire College and is a trained therapist herself, so brings plenty of subject specific knowledge to the Account Executive role. Kim has recently changed zones and now looks after all Centres in Malaysia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Japan, India, Thailand, NZ and Australia. She is looking forward to the opportunity and challenge of working with international Centres and building new relationships. Kim balances her time between work and being a busy mum.

Daniella Barlcay - Account Executive

Daniella is the newest member of the CIBTAC team, she looks after our Centres in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Dublin. Daniella comes with a wealth of experience in scheduling and resourcing as well as relationship management.

Laura Davis - Endorsed Lead

Laura has been with BABTAC & CIBTAC for seven years and is an experienced teacher and lecturer with over 23 years practice within the industry. She is dedicated to maintaining the highest quality within our educational Centres ensuring they provide the highest standards and premier level of training to our candidates. Laura still practices within the industry and also attends CPD courses, to keep up with our ever-evolving beauty industry, With expertise in facials and Holistic body treatments.

Nicola Hume - Finance Manager

Nicola joined the company in 2016 and is a finance professional with more than 15 years of experience in a wide range of business sectors. Her priorities are to ensure that the financial health of the company is good, maintaining the efficient and effective management of money to accomplish the goals of the organisation. She is responsible for preparing the financial reports and is keen to consider ways to reduce costs. In 2000, Nicola achieved a BA Honours degree in Business Studies before completing various Accountancy qualifications including certification with ACCA.

Lindsey Hunt - Finance Assistant

Lindsey originally joined the company as our CIBTAC apprentice supporting the team with all aspects of the business, she quickly showed an aptitude for invoicing and the financial side of the business. She now works under the guidance of Nicola to ensure CIBTAC and BABTAC (our sister company) is functioning effectively and the accounts are kept up to date.

Andrea Schubach - Head of Marketing

Having moved from South Africa four years ago, Andrea brings over 15 years’ marketing experience across a variety of industries including membership associations.

Andrea has been with BABTAC & CIBTAC for 2 years, and enjoys the diversity of marketing across both companies and the endless opportunities this dynamic industry provides.

Kate Pullin - Digital Media & Marketing Executive

Kate has been with the company for 2 years, she started within BABTAC's membership team before being promoted to her current role. She brings with her a wealth of experience in graphic design and web development and has already proved to be a great asset in the marketing department.

Clare Harris - Marketing Executive

Clare recently joined BABTAC, she has nearly twenty years marketing experience, she is focusing on the Vitality magazine as well as continuing to grow and develop the BABTAC and CIBTAC brand in the industry. Clare has two children and loves to go for weekends away with family and friends.
